#14. Saizeriya.

We recently conducted a poll on our Facebook page itself and one of the questions was, "Which if your favourite type of food from the given below?" The options were, "Chinese cuisine", "Malay cuisine", "Japanese cuisine", "Korean cuisine" and we also asked our respondents to specify other types of food they prefer. Most of our respondents replied with "Western". Among all the choices given, "Japanese cuisine" stood out among the rest.

In this entry, we'll be introducing one of a cheap yet family-style restaurant located at Liang Court - Saizeriya. Saizeriya at Liang Court is a 10 minute walk away from Clarke Quay MRT Station. We were served by the friendly waitress who brought us to our tables.

From the menu, we tried the following:

Hamburg steak with Vegetable Salsa - $7.18
A close up of the vegetable salsa.
Beef Steak with Mushroom - $7.98
Grilled Chicken with Cheese - $7.18
A close up of the corn.

Hamburg steak with Vegetable Salsa -
The meat is fine except for the Vegetable Salsa on top. The salsa on top of the steak had a weird taste.

Beef steak with Mushroom -
Not really the best quality beef around but what can you expect from a less than $8 meal?

Grilled chicken with Cheese -
Recommended for those who are a cheezy fan and the best part is the cheese is somewhat different from the norm that you have at other western food stalls.

Saizeriya is a Japanese-Italian restaurant which concentrates more on family-orientation - there are food for the adults and food for the young ones as well. The interior design of the shop was spacious, twice the size of an average eatery outside. Seats inside the eatery were comfy and the colours used for the design of the shop mostly green and brown.

An average price for a set meal which consists of salad and soup when served cost no more than $8!!! For the drinks, they have a whole lot of drinks for you to choose from. Saizeriya has their own drink bar in their restaurant itself. Plain water is free of charge and the rest of the soft drinks are free flow at a price of $4. You can just stay on and talk the afternoon or evening away just by getting off your seat and refill your drinks as the drink bar is just a few steps away from where you're sitting.

Other than the various main courses available, they also serve pizzas, salads, pasta, soups and more. This is one place you can visit when you think the notes in your wallet are slowly decreasing.

Where?
Liang Court #02-22
Operationg hours - 10am to 10pm

Admin: If you are hanging out with a large group of people and have no where in mind to go for your meals, why not try Saizeriya?
